He has had the opportunity of working across multiple development themes such as livelihoods, health, education, microfinance, disability and agriculture with a major focus on fundraising and financial services.

Possess deep expertise and experience in facilitating access to financial services (Savings, Credit, Insurance and Pension) for various marginalised communities and their organisations including farmer producer organisations.

Has also expertise and rich experience in raising funds for NGOs and community organisations across India and abroad. Has raised about INR 100 Crores till date from various sources including CSRs and Foundations both within India and outside India.

Narendran is the founder of Tamuku, a startup that sends the latest updates and opportunities in the Development Sector through WhatsApp for NGOs and Development Sector Professionals in India. Tamuku has 3500+ paid subscribers as on date. He has also co-founded Gateway Consultancy, an International Development Sector Consulting Firm and has carried out 50+ projects across 7 countries in the areas of fundraising, monitoring & evaluation, research and documentation, etc.
