After a very busy period, I now have time to share some highlights and insights from MEL assignments conducted in the past year.
One of the highlights was a baseline study on SRHR conducted in Kenya, Uganda and Ethiopia together with ResultsinHealth. We used Body mapping and Gender Jumble as participatory methods to discuss knowledge, attitudes and practices with ultimate programme stakeholders. With Body mapping we discussed SRHR issues using drawings of the body and with Gender jumble we discussed statements on gender roles in an interactive way with the workshop participants.
If you would like to learn more about these two methods, please don’t hesitate to contact me or Rima Irmayani of ResultsinHealth.
